These terms cover text messages from Riptide Music Lessons LLC. Lesson, tuition and studio policies are given to each family at enrollment.

SMS Terms

The program

Riptide Music Lessons LLC sends text messages to parents and adult students who agree to receive them: lesson confirmations and reminders, schedule changes (like snow days and reschedules), and account notices (like an upcoming tuition charge, a payment problem, or an expiring card). We don’t send marketing texts.

How you sign up

By checking the texting box on our trial-booking or enrollment form. Texting is optional and not required to book or take lessons.

Where texts come from

Texts come from (401) 622-4660, Riptide’s studio number.

How often

Message frequency varies, usually 2–8 messages a month.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.

Stopping and help

Reply STOP to any message to opt out; you’ll get one message confirming it, then no more. Reply START to opt back in. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at (401) 622-4660 or tom@riptidelessons.com.

The fine print

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Your information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
