What we collect

When you book a trial, enroll, or contact us, we collect what we need to teach and bill: the student’s name, age and lesson details, and the parent’s or adult student’s name, email, phone number and address. Payment cards and bank accounts are entered on Stripe’s secure page and held by Stripe. We never see or store full card or account numbers.

How we use it

To schedule and teach lessons, send lesson reminders and schedule changes, bill tuition and fees, and answer your questions. We don’t sell your information.

Text messages

If you agree to receive texts, we use your mobile number only to send lesson reminders, schedule changes and billing notices. We never send marketing texts. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out. See the SMS section of our Terms & Conditions.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Who else sees it

Only the service providers we use to run the studio, and only what each one needs: Stripe (payments), Twilio (text messages), our scheduling and billing software and its hosting, and our email provider. They may not use your information for anything else.

Children

Many of our students are children. Parents or guardians provide their information; we don’t collect it from children directly. Photos or video are only shared as described in our studio policies, and families can opt out.

Keeping and deleting

We keep records as long as you’re a student and as long as the law requires for billing. Ask us anytime to see, correct, or delete your information.
